Signup and Usage

Forward2Me is relatively straight forward and easy to get started with. You can easily signup via Facebook, Google+ or an email address. The system automatically chooses your country based on your location, which you can change via drop-down box if required. There is no signup or subscription fee; ever.

Once your signup is complete, you get a package forwarding UK address immediately, and a welcome message confirms your payment methods based on your country. Make sure you read it carefully because once the alert is dismissed, you will not see the approved payment methods again nor can you check it unless you are ready to pay for shipment or shopping services.

Your new addresses are located in the left panel of your account that you can use when filling out your delivery details when shopping online. Unlike many other services, you can start shopping and shipping to your Forward2Me UK parcel forwarding address immediately after signup. There is no lengthy documentation or verification process at the time of signup (though they may require some verification depending on your delivery address and mode of payment) and you don't need to register incoming packages with them. This step alone is a hassle and saves valuable time.

Once your packages arrive, you can see them in Package Inbox where you can select each package and order extra services such as requesting photos, combine & repack or simple consolidation where all shipments are placed in 1 larger box and shipped. Here you also get to choose from multiple shipping options available for your country.

Verdict

Forward2Me provides a host of services that would benefit the occasional overseas shopper as well as UK Expats who still want a piece of their homeland with them no matter where they are located geographically. Customer Service is critical to run such services, and we found them to be top notch with our queries. If you're looking for a UK shipper and don't want to bother family or friends, then they appear to be a good choice for international parcel service.

    I’ve bought many perfumes from the UK and used Forward2Me since this particular perfume house didn’t ship to Canada. So I went online and found Forward2Me. I just recieved my parcel today. After paying almost the same cost of my expensive perfume they said they needed to repack this small box into a cardboard box 20 times the size of my tiny parcel and I was obviously charged much more for this obvious cash grab. If you work there credit my shipping back because if they don’t I’m going to post until your lose 20 times the business that you charged me. I wish I could upload the box they used beside my parcel. What a scam.

    Beware!! This company is running a scam with unclaimed Parcels if no one claims the parcel within two weeks then they actually go home with the employees and their written off as rubbish. I would not do business with these people I’m getting ready to close my account as soon as they find my parcel. Tracy would just do a standard copy and paste reply but she never does follow up with anyone. She is creating an environment that allows this type of behavior to go on. I would not trust this company with anything valuable. Not only that but it’s a lot of Hands-On and having to deal with these people because you have to babysit your packages because they will not properly log in the tracking numbers. A lot of funny business going on here and a lot of cover-up. Please be advised.

    Awful service. Parcel not delivered because i refused to pay a service fee to ups of 80 euros for a return of goods without any commercial value (value 0 eur). Just to make a declaration that the goods have no value and are not taxable… forward2me asked me to pay for the return fees and to pay also to send again the parcel… just ridiculous…

    Their reply:
    “Hi,
    Just like the customs charges we cannot control what admin charges UPS apply.
    But fact remains you rejected the shipment.
    This was your deisoison as you were unhappy paying the courier admin fees, therefore we are not going to issue any refund.

    So if you are not happy with paying 80 EUR of service fees for goods without commercial value and being robbed by UPS, it means if you refuse to pay something which is not due, it is your fault… And forward2me won’t assist you, on the contrary, they will punish you for refusing to be stolen.
